This is a free 2 hour comedy workshop for Children and young people run by MicDrop Gigs CIC in association with ComedyClub4Kids.There are 2 workshops available1pm-3pm - 8 to 11 years (Primary School)3:30pm-5:30pm - 11 to 16 years (Secondary School)The workshops involve lots of practical tips but also games and tasks to help participants come up with material and feel comfortable onstage. The kids do a mix of solo work, sketches and improv games, similar to what you would see on ‘Mock the Week’, ‘Set List’ and ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway’  You will be sent a booking form to fill out. This must be completed and returned to us within 5 days or your child's space may be offered to someone else. Spaces are limited, so please let us know if your child can no longer attend so we can offer the space to another child. Parents/carers are advised to leave their child, however we appreciate that some children may want someone to stay with them, this is fine. If the child or anyone in their household has any symptoms of COVID or test positive for COVID, please do not attend and advise us via Email Hello@MicDropGigs.comIf your child requires assistance using the toilet, a parent/carer must stay to help with this.
