JOHN FOTHERGILL
This lively Geordie is a highly sought-after headline comic with his blend of cocky insults and slick banter.
John became a regular at Newcastle’s Comedy Café and in 1993, his first year as a comedian, he was lucky enough to appear with the likes of Jack Dee, Lee Evans and Jo Brand.
In 1997 John performed a month long run at the Adelaide International Comedy Festival, and in 1999 he appeared on BBC1’s The Stand Up Show, and became a regular member of the Comedy Store’s highly regarded Cutting Edge team.
He has also appeared on BBC1’s Never mind the Buzzcocks.

Social Median sensation John is also a former pro rugby player and a very funny stand up.
You may have seen some of his viral video sketches such as 'Addicted to Attention', 'UK's Most Dangerous Inmate', 'British Dads on Holiday', and 'Too Big for Tattoo's - UK's Hardest Bouncers' - all of which have millions of views.

JOHN SCOTT
John Scott is a comedian with 20 years’ experience in the industry. He is the winner of the Spike Milligan Award for New Talent and is also the recipient of the biggest cash prize ever awarded a comedian at the Edinburgh Festival when he won £12’000 in the Take The Mic competition.
John has provided warm up duties for such notable names as Stewart Lee, Frankie Boyle, Stewart Francis, Jerry Sadowitz, Tom Stade, Reginald D. Hunter and many more.

A fan favourite here on Teesside, Leeds based impressionist and host Chris Lumb always makes the audience feel welcome and part of the show - in a good way!

A really enjoyable and informative course, a small group of great people, Chris and Phil are brilliant at facilitating and the showcase at the end showed the progress made. Would love to do the next follow on course. Improv is great at helping you think on your feet and its really good fun too.

Best comedy night, sells out quickly. I don’t it want to grow and move venue so don’t buy tickets it’s terrible you’d hate it ;)

Unreal night of belly laughs. Phil and Chris are unpredictable, wacky, and simply brilliant! It's like having two Bob Mortimer on stage at once. We're truly privileged to have such a great comedy act perform regularly on our doorstep. Great curry on offer as well.
