TweetJoin us in celebrating one of the greatest sitcoms ever made, as we welcome renowned stand-up Joe Rooney for a night of all things Father Ted!
Joe featured as the rebellious Father Damo in the classic Father Ted episode The Old Grey Whistle Theft, leading Dougal astray with his earring, cigarette smoking and bad-boy attitude.
Joe will host a screening of the episode, take you behind the scenes and set you a Craggy Island quiz–then prepare yourself for an all-inclusive ‘Lovely Girls Competition’ have you got the loveliest laugh, the loveliest walk, and can you make the loveliest sandwich?
There will also be a dancing priests competition, plus appearances from a nursery-rhyme singing Ziggy Stardust, Nirvana, Johnny Cash and many more – and the evening wouldn’t be complete without a sing-along to ‘My Lovely Horse’!
Come and meet Joe and immerse yourself in the very silly delights of Father Ted.
Ah, go on...you will! “
A purveyor of choice gags, a natural storyteller, guitar in hand, Joe Rooney delights the room with his infectiously manic delivery.” - Ardal O’Hanlon

Very funny and true to everything that was said. A wonderful opportunity to meet Mrs Smith the identity and to know she is so real.

Mrs Smith you are brilliant! Pertinent, sympathetic, politically and socially aware, observant, hilarious! Most of all you are just one of us! We love your outlook and commentary on Facebook, and loved it even more to be able to laugh with you! From one Mrs Smith to another- thanks for always helping us to ‘keep it real’ and creating a platform where we can do it as a community of school staff who all ‘get it’ Thanks for giving up your Easter holidays to treat us! Please come back to Norwich soon!

This was a great local find. Been to two of their shows now and would go back again. If you like comedy but don't want to travel into London on a work night then this is the place for you. Only thing we find lacking is the drinks menu.
