STEPHEN CARLIN
The Sean Lock of his generation. - BBC Comedy Development
One of the Ten Best Comedians in the World Ever. - Stewart Lee
The material is sharp and original. - The List
Stephen Carlin is a hilarious Scottish comedian who has received great critical acclaim, accolades and a growing fanbase with his original and insightful writing style and accomplished delivery. He is a very enigmatic act, using a unique pattern of delivery to amuse the audience with very unexpected and off the wall references.
From his sartorial elegance to his in-depth and hilarious knowledge of International snooker, Carlin’s performance takes the audience into the mind of a passionate obsessive. This man is well on his way to becoming Scotland’s newest addition to its history of brilliant comedians. All skilfully delivered in his deadpan Scottish brogue.
Stephen has supported Tom Stade, Stewart Lee, Stephen Merchant and Felix Dexter on their national tours. He also starred on Stewart Lee’s The Alternative Comedy Experience on Comedy Central.
He has performed a number of solo stand-up shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Drink Carlin Sensibly in 2014, The Gospel According to Stephen in 2015, TV Comeback Special. in 2016, Stephen Carlin: Rise of the Autistic in 2017 and The Opininator in 2018.
He is an experienced writer, having written for BBC Radio Shows including the Now Show and Newsquiz.
GEOFF WHITING
Geoff Whiting, the founder of Mirth Control Comedy has established himself as a successful comedian and popular compere. His funny, strong, versatile act lends itself to any occasion. He has a wealth of experience in working at all the notable comedy clubs in Europe and many corporate and private events with audiences of 12 to over 1,000 people.
Geoff has supported Michael McIntyre, Harry Hill, Dara O Briain, Omid Djalili, Lee Mack, Ross Noble, Rhod Gilbert, Milton Jones, Micky Flanagan, Noel Fielding and Lee Hurst.
He has made regular appearances on TV and radio and is an excellent TV warm-up having cut his teeth on the BBC's Shooting Stars. Geoff performs at comedy clubs and corporate events across Europe: from Budapest to Guernsey.
Geoff is one of only a handful of comics worldwide to have performed stand up comedy in a pod on the London Eye (for the One Show) and was the first English speaking comic to ever perform at Club 99 in Bucharest, Romania.

Some great comedians. Nice intimate venue but having to sit a stool for a couple of hours killed me back.
