Happy Mondays Comedy at The Amersham Arms New Cross bring you a fantastic line up of comedy talent for you including much loved audience favourite brilliant comedy circuit legend Canadian Phil Nichol- 'Attacks his material with all the restraint of a Tasmanian Devil in a foghorn factory' (The Times) if you have never seen Phil Nichol then you are in for a treat! Phil returns to the UK after a season out in Atlantic City USA as host of The Hook a Vegas style circus/cabaret show. Plus visiting Irish Comedian Stephen Robert-Walters, Sarah Bowles -As seen on This Morning , up & coming Streatham based Jamaican comedian Sean Little , promising newbie Ro Dodgson Plus Special Guest TBC providing the lols all hosted by your cheeky charming compere Sion James at the ever popular Amersham Arms New Cross ( Across the Road from New Cross station)

Stephen Robert-Walters is one of the longest names in Irish comedy. A voice actor by day, a comedian by night, Stephen will do anything in his power to avoid an honest day's work. Performing throughout Ireland, the UK and even the US, Stephen has shared the stage with some heavyweight names on the comedy scene such as Sharon Mannion, Ardal O'Hanlon, Emma Doran and the legendary Mark Thomas.

Great way to try and reach people during lockdown. Good fun. Flowed really well. A surprise ‘big’ nane in comedy, which was a great bonus. Most of the comedians were great , it can’t be easy doing a routine this way ,so think they all did good compare was fab in his role and brought it all together ! Would definitely attend another. Great value for money. Actually felt like we had been out! Just not out out.

Loved Friday night, great to see and support talented comedians during these times, and the Zoom format really works well. Thanks to Lloyd, Charlie, Laura, Tony and James - and a special mention for Sion who keeps it all together in inimitable fashion. Looking forward to the next one.

Excellent evening yet again. Josh was definitely a favourite. Last review was obviously taken seriously - the comedians cranked it up a notch. Compere has tenancies to paraphrase reviews slightly incorrectly (Haha!) but in saying that, filth rating was 5 stars. He's lucky he's funny too. Also - never seen such a handsome and beautiful looking audience.
