TweetFollowing her killer debut tour, Riawakening, the wickedly funny Ria Lina returns with a riotous Work in Progress before she hits the road again in Autumn 2025. Expect a relentless stream of hilarity as Ria explores the eternal battle of the sexes, the delight in throwing life up in the air after years of following the rules, and the art of radical indifference. Much loved in the industry, this multi-award winner commands the stage with a whirlwind of energy and leaves audiences breathless with laughter.
Her extensive list of credits includes Live At The Apollo, Have I Got News For You?, Mock the Week, cohosting Pointless, Lovestruck High, Richard Osman’s House of Games, The Last Leg and Celebrity Mastermind. 'I have no doubt she will hold her own so easily that she'll have a hand free to hold someone else's too' (The Guardian)
''Fearless, provocative and very funny... wonderfully on-the-edge stuff... There isn't a comedy venue in the country that shouldn't be fighting for her' (The Scotsman)
'Slickly done - the girl's got talent' (Chortle).
'Electrified the audience with her relaxed yet biting wit' (ThreeWeeks)

Venue was rubbish, the music was playing so loud upstairs you could not hear the gig very well! They either need to keep the volume down or don’t bother with it as a venue! Charlie was very good, and very interesting watching his work in progress. Such a shame I was the only audience member! And that is not a reflection in Charlie, probably just the venue!

She cancelled only 90 mins. before show time, when I would have assumed that she'd be en route to "sunny" Hastings. A disappointing let-down.
