TweetJake Lambert (Tour support for Michael McIntyre, Romesh Ranganathan & Jack Dee) has a new ‘Solidly Entertaining’ (The Scotsman) show, and it’s called Shimmy Shake! The ‘Fringe Favourite’ (Broadway World) returns with another ‘Highly entertaining hour’ (One4Review) packed full of ‘Subtlety and wit throughout’ (LondonTheatre1), which 'Catalyses laughter that cannot be contained’ (EdFest) in his most honest show yet, that proves why he ‘Could easily be a tv star!’ (Beyond The Joke)
A lot has changed over the last few years, including Jake, who has written a show which will be his most honest, and more importantly funniest show yet. Politics, social issues and ever-changing culture are things everybody has an opinion on, except for Jake, so he’s trying to get one. Oh, and he also has epilepsy. After having a seizure at university Jake met a German girl who changed his life. However, they lost touch, and so in 2020, with literally nothing else to do, he tried to find her… As seen on Comedy Central and ITV. Writer for Mock The Week, The Royal Variety Performance, Ranganation, The Apprentice: You’re Fired, 8 Out Of 10 Cats and The News Quiz.
