A turn up for the books for someone whose personality type is “fun aunt”. How smooth or bumpy has the transition been? Billed as a "work in progress", Simon had a good first 20 minutes and a very mediocre final 40! Arriving an hour late didn't help his cause. Needs a lot of work pre-Edinburgh.

Unfortunately, Sasha was held up by trains and couldn't make it. But we enjoyed the others who filled in at the last minute. Gorgeous venue. Lovely organisers. Bar well stocked

an excellent work in progress gig, Alasdair was very good explained the process and tried out his new material and it all went well, a bigger audience would have been better, but it is a small venue, but it was an intimate jig and it all went very well
