Sussan Ley, in a last-ditch effort for a political gotcha before the year's end, has been reportedly locked in her office trying to link one of Albo's top Spotify artists to Nazism. Since Wednesday, the Leader of the Opposition to Band T-Shirts has been seen muttering about Albo's musical choices, particularly puzzled why Joy Division isn't in his Top 5.
Spotted in the Parliament lunchline, Ley was heard speculating about Taylor Swift's Aryan traits, suggesting she might have something there. Meanwhile, Ley's colleagues have turned shadow cabinet meetings into musical listening parties, hoping to find anything that sticks. She's even promised her party leadership to anyone who can manage to accuse Albo's Top 5 of anti-Semitism.
One junior Liberal staffer humorously noted they thought they found a clue with Albo's Spotify Listening age being 88, a notorious Nazi dog whistle, only to realize it also represents the average age of their voters. When pressed about her own Spotify Wrapped, Ley boasted a lineup of completely unproblematic artists like Michael Jackson and Kanye West.
